Ride & Run – See the World

I have been out for some days now, I’ve reached Northern Ireland and am waiting for Christopher, who will arrive by plane tomorrow. I have seen some absolutely fantastic scenery, both running and riding. I don’t really feel inspired to write at this point so I’ll settle for sharing pictures.

It is sunny, green and lovely but unfortunately no trotting deers to be seen anywhere

I found a campsite next to a river, I thought I better stop before the rain so I could pitch my tent and go running. It didn't rain at all though. Very nice!

My favourite dinner, I'd been saving myself for this. This was not only a delicious meal, it was also the first time in a very long time I could listen to a bar full of people speaking and I could not understand a single word. Welsh is an interesting language indeed.

So, that is a summary in pictures from the last days, I’ll get back about the Horizons Unlimited event – I need to dwell upon it a bit longer before writing. Now I’m off to bed with my new book, “In Search of Greener Grass” which I “had” to buy since my kindle ran out of charge.

  1. Been over 30 years since I was around in Eire. Scenery hasn’t changed a bit. Enjoy landscape and culture in this lovely country.
