Birthday Run Down Under

I can hardly think of a better way to spend my birthday then running in Austraila, along the Derebyn Creek in northern Melbourne and then head of to the airport to fly home. Home, where is home? For me it is not a specific place, it is where I can cook a meal together with my partner. So that is where I’m going. I hope it will be curry, potato and brocolli curry.

My first run Down Under logged on my GPS watch, my best souvernir. The run, that is!

I’ve been away for three weeks and they have been action packed: Marshalling at the MotoGP, WIMA rally on Phillip Islan, riding the Great Ocean Road and sight-seeing in Melbourne. I has been an intensive stay so it is not just because of the run I’m tired. However, I acknowledge that I have lost some fitness and from now on running has to get priority in my life. Annelie and I are planning to run a marathon together again in spring and this time we’ll do it for charity. We hope to inspire other WIMA members to join us and raise money for the Motorcycle Outreach. More about this and everything else in a few days time, now it is time to travel. And I will travel back in time… so I will actually time-travell. 🙂
